Bri & Lance: Utah Summer Wedding

You get about one blog post a month from me it seems but I have stacks of work to be blogged so you should be getting more ….. someday time will allow me these little things, until then enjoy this summer wedding at Thanksgiving Point photographed by Angela Howard Photograph, it’s very sophisticated!

Pottery Barn Kids: Thanksgiving Table

I recently was asked by Sweet Little Peanut to provide floral and some styling for a Pottery Barn Kids commissioned Thanksgiving table, and it turned out gorgeous! Before we get too far into November I wanted to share it here on the blog to provide you with as much inspiration for that special day of gratitude as I can.

I am turning my own thoughts to my own blessings and digging deep to turn those thoughts into sincere appreciation and gratitude, Something deeper than everyday gratitude. Among my thoughts are the success of my business, the friendships I have because of that business, and talent … pure God given talent that allows me to continue working in this discipline.

I want to thank you for following me and supporting my company and my craft! So I am giving away a FREE thanksgiving centerpiece crafted by me and available for pick up on Wed the 26th at my Lehi Studio. $100 value. So if you need something beautiful at your table this is your chance. Head to my Instagram, follow me and then follow instructions to enter!

Thanks to Megan Bailey for including me on this shoot and to Becky Kimball for shooting it!

Veronica & Jacen: Park City Wedding

Bloggin is just not up there on the priority list these days, just been so incredibly busy at the studio over the last little bit I have not been able to get to the blog and so it keeps making the to do list day after day, after day, but never is crossed off! And yet the struggle is real because I have so much goodness to share with you! Including this beautiful Utah mountain wedding in Park City at Deer Valley’s Empire Canyon Lodge.

This wedding took place a bit over a year ago and it has taken me some time to share it with you, so it may be a  tad bit dated but its a beautiful one! Events by LMG orchestrated the planning and design for this great couple and their big day was ultimately fabulous because of LMG. Mitch with Zuma Photo documented it all and shared this images with us.

Veronica loves the color green and she wanted to create cohesiveness with her venue and environment so she went with brown earth tones, various hues of green, and classic ivory. We used a lot of natural elements like aspen logs, bark wrapped vases, turkey and sage grouse feathers, and hemp twine. Candles were mingled to bring in wedding elegance and flowers were abundant!

The Studio: Part Uno

blog studio 24

This is me, Audrey, the owner. You rarely will find a “selfie” or otherwise of me here or in social media, it is just not who I am. Some are good at sharing of themselves, some even making a living at it ….. me not so much. But for this post I felt it necessary and especially was grateful to one of the best people photographers I know ….. Lindsey Shaun for helping me get comfortable with this facet of business.

This post really is kind of about me, it is about my business, my dreams, my aspirations, and my new studio. I want to share with you, I want you to come inside.

I started this business about 15 years ago. I had a dream to custom design and create event floral. I did not want to own and operate a flower shop, I wanted to be an artist and focus on commissioned art. Thus the root word ‘studio’ in my company name. I have always operated the business out of my home or various work and storage places but until now had not based my business out of what I really perceived to be a studio, this has been a long time coming.

The studio is located in Lehi, close to where I personally reside with a handsome gentleman and our six kids … you read that right, we have six kids …. and sometimes more depending on who needs us! It is nestled in an old part of downtown Lehi just off main street and is surrounded by a few other great business’s and old architecture. {29 N 100 W}

The concept of what the studio is exactly will be new to those around me but intriguing to experience. For my bridal clients it will be a purely delightful place to consult and custom design your wedding flowers, that will be consistent in process to what I have done for years now, in a better environment! You will be inspired and feel good when you walk inside. The canvas is clean yet full of texture and interest. I am not always open as you might expect to find a retail business, I am there when I am there, which typically is fairly frequent {you can find info about when I am open on instagram @studiostems}. Sometimes you may walk in on us creating floral for a wedding and find stems on the ground and half created centerpieces, but I want you to see this, I want you experience this part of what I do. You will also find some retail like items, a collection of carefully selected merchandise to brighten your lives, your weddings, your family, your home.

Moody Canyon

Just a few weeks back into the summer Neena Earl designed up this beautiful bouquet and paired up with some local artists to create this beautiful bridal shoot that took them up American Fork canyon against aggressive rock that provided some moody contrast to the floral. Neena used some rich tones rather than the typical pale trendy tones we have seen so much of and it was refreshing!
